Hello and welcome to my page! I'm Shona, a wildlife and pet portrait artist based in Oxfordshire, UK. I have a passion for all creatures, great and small, which I have combined with my love for painting!
I use high-quality acrylic paint on canvas, to produce realistic paintings in my own unique style. I love painting all sorts of animals, the weird and the wonderful, and am always up for a challenge. When I'm not painting pet portraits, I enjoy painting British wildlife, particularly creatures found in the garden.

PET PORTRAITS
Pet portraits are a lovely way to memorialise a beloved pet, or are perfect as a gift to a loved one for a special occasion. I understand how special our furry (or non-furry!) friends are, and you can be reassured that hours of love will go into your painting.
I use high-quality acrylic paints on canvas. My standard canvas size is 10 x 8 inches with one pet, but if you would like a larger size and/or multiple pets, please enquire and I will try to accommodate this.
How do I order?
The commission process is simple and straight-forward! To enquire for a commission please email me at: shonastewartart@hotmail.com
In the email please include:
- Your pets name and any details about them (age, personality etc.).
- High-quality photographs or multiple, lower quality photos of your pet.
- If you need your commission by a particular date (please note that commissions can take between 2-4 weeks depending on space and availability, so ensure to enquire in advance to avoid disappointment).
How much does this cost?
Currently I offer 10 x 8 inch portrait with one pet for £100. I am in the process of finalising my price list to include larger paintings and multiple subjects, please enquire if you are interested in this and I can discuss size and prices with you.
What next?
Once I have received your email, I will check that the photographs are okay for painting (or if I require more) and that you are happy with the way I plan to paint your pet (e.g. using one particular photo or a mix of them).
Once we are both happy, I require a 50% deposit to secure your booking. I will provide regular updates once I start painting. When the painting is completed, I will show you the result and am able to make small changes if required. Once the rest of the payment is received, your painting will be lovingly and safely packaged up and sent with Royal Mail (First Class Tracked & Signed delivery).
